Never underestimate the power of your children's emotions.
Isaac (age 5) was watching a documentary about rain forrests on the Discovery Channel last night. Near the end, after a lengthy segment which featured sweeping panoramic views of the Brazilian Andes, he turned to me, pointed to his eyes and said:
"Look at me. I'm almost crying. Those mountains are so beautiful."
Later, lying in bed, he told me, "I can't stop thinking about those mountains."
Did I mention, this child is 5?
